How do I describe the Philippines? Two words: Food Haven! If there’s anything I’d keep coming back for more, I’d say the food because oh-ma-gaaa! Not only are they cheap, but they’re actually really good, thus satisfying my palate (true for the most part) with every bite. They’re flavorful (playborpul) and there’s just so much variety, I don’t even know where to begin! Continue reading “Weekend Shenanigans – Philippine Version Part 2”
What’s up homies? It’s been a few days since I got back from the Philippines where I spent last weekend pretty much just pigging out. Every year, my coworker and I get invited by our sister company to celebrate Christmas with them before the actual occasion when everybody is still available to do so. While we’ve only ever celebrated at our superiors’ houses before, this time we went to a resort called Cintai Corito’s in Lipa City, Batangas. Prior to leaving, I read about this place which is apparently a Balinese-inspired sanctuary which is what it says on their website, so go google it if you’re interested. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t miss hanging out with these people. Like I said in my previous posts, we were only in Dumaguete for a really short, but sweet time. However, looking back at the photos that everybody took, it sure seemed like we were there for a much longer period.

It’s been more than a month since our last trip and I’m still not done posting about Dumaguete. Do bear with me as I’ve been busy lazing around during my days off, but then again, it’s not like anybody really cares whether I post this or not. However, I’m doing this for future me, so I’ll have something to look back on whenever I feel like reminiscing.
Anyways, moving on to our second day in DGT, our friends took us to Apo Island where it was definitely a first for me since I’m not really a big fan of being in water whilst I do enjoy the occasional swim. You see I have a phobia of water for some inexplicable reason, but not to the extent where I wouldn’t try things for the first time. I wasn’t going to miss out on swimming with the turtles especially when everybody was going to do it. Continue reading “Dumaguete – Part 2”
This year has been really epic for me due to the fact that I went all out with travelling to both nearby places and the other side of the world with my boyfriend, siblings and my parents. I’ve never felt happier and broke at the same time because as I’ve mentioned in one of my posts before, travelling takes a toll on my finances, but nothing can replace the wonderful memories I’ve made with the special people in my heart. Therefore, I’m sharing with you some of my favourite memories below. Continue reading “My Travel Round Up for the Year 2017”
